International Association for Statistical Education
The International Association for Statistical Education (IASE) functions as the international umbrella organisation for statistics education. It seeks to improve statistics education at all levels from primary school through to the training of professionals, and to increase the uptake of statistics education world wide. IASE fosters international cooperation, and stimulates discussion and research. It disseminates ideas, strategies, research findings, materials and information using publications, international conferences, and increasingly, this website.
IASE organise statistics education webinars most months of the year. We welcome IASE and non-IASE members to the webinars, and extend a warm invitation to high school statistics teachers and teachers at other levels of schooling. Many of the previous webinars are of direct relevance to teaching and learning at the secondary level, and others provide valuable PLD as we continually update and refresh our knowledge of the statistics and statistics education field.
The IASE welcomes members of NZAMT to register and join any of the webinars we offer, or to view the asynchronously after the session. Details about upcoming webinars, and previous webinars can be found here.
