The Conference Committee Welcomes You To NZAMT8
The big event is finally upon us. After years of planning, it is our pleasure to welcome you all to Hamilton and we hope that the extensive array of workshops, plenary sessions, trade display presentations and social events that we have on offer will provide stimulation, much-valued classroom resources, enjoyment and the opportunity to socialise with new and old friends.
We are delighted that over 400 attendees will descend on St Paul’s Collegiate School to share in the magic of mathematics. The dictionary gives a surprising variety of meanings for the word “magic” and the one that best emulates our theme this week is a “ mysterious and enchanting experience”. There are many mysteries that may unfold this week and as we all know, mathematics is an enchanting subject.
