  • Tangata Whenua: Alan Milroy will come forward to accept the Koha on behalf of the Tangata Whenua.
  • Tangata Whenua: Reverend Rauwhero will speak and conclude the Powhiri on behalf of the Tangata Whenua; he may wish to recite a karakia and sing a hymn. (Mr Pene will ask everyone to stand if this is the case. They will conclude with a waiata).
  • Manuwhiri and dignatories  will be asked to move forward for the hariru (handshake) and hongi.
  • The Manuwhiri will then be invited to partake in light refreshments,  (Reverend Rauwhero may wish to karakia before the food).
