NEW NZAMT FORUM:
With all of the changes to the curriculum and assessments, many teachers feel confused, have questions, and feel isolated. This new forum is hopefully a way to bring teachers from around the country together, to discuss concerns and share ideas and resources.
Using MyPortfolio, teachers can register here if not already registered http://myportfolio.school.nz/register.php
Once registered, join the Teaching Maths and Stats forum/discussion group. Click on the Forums tab. Here different forums are set up for - General Discussions, NCEA Level 1 Achievement Standards, Unit Standards, NCEA Level 2 Achievement Standards, NZAMT feedback (to share your ideas with us), and National Standards. Within each forum, there are separate topics set up, like AS 1.1 Number within the NCEA Level 1 Ach Standards forum, in order to keep conversations grouped together and easier to follow. You can subscribe to individual forums and have postings sent directly to your inbox. Please let us know if we missed out any areas.
